This is a guide how to play Nunu

Basic Infos about Nunu

Abilities

• Consume - Kill a Minion and heal yourself for a small value + Ability power
• Blood Boil - Get more attackspeed and walkingspeed
• Ice Blast - Damage Heroes or Minions for 275 + Ability Power (Highes Level)
• Absolute zero - 375/550/750 Dmg + Ability Power * 3
• [Passive] Visionary - After 8 Hits your next Spell does not cost Mana

The most important Spells are Ice Blast and Absolute Zero. The great thing about Absolute Zero is that it's ability-power-multiplicator is the highest in the game.

Low Level Items - In this Order - ~ 3000 Gold

• Meki Pendant - 390 Gold - Manareg, because Nunus Standart-Mana-Reg is too low
• Ampli. Tomb - 420 Gold - Ability Power + 20
• Blasting Wand - 860 Gold - Ability Power + 40
• Mejas Soulstealer - 550 Gold + Ampli. Tomb + Blasting Wand - Ability Power + 70 and +10 Ability Power Per kill / +5 per Assist, 70 Max - Has to be bought as early as possible to get the Bonuses to max
• Ampli. Tomb - 420 Gold - Ability Power + 20
• Fiendish Codex - 420 Gold + Ampli. Tomb + Meki Pendant - Ability Power + 30, -10% Cooldown, +7 Manareg/5s

Mid Level Items - In this Order - ~ 3500 Gold

• Sorcerer's Shoes - ~1000 Gold - +33 Ability Power / Walking Faster
• Banshee's Veil - ~2600 Gold - +500 Health / +400 Mana / Protecting you rom 1 Enemy-Spell every 30 Seconds

High Level Items - In this Order - ~ 8500 Gold

• Zhonya's Ring - ~4000 Gold - +100 Ability Power, +25% Ability Power + 500 Mana
• Archangel's Staff - ~3000 Gold + 45 Ability Power / +25 Manareg/5s / + 400 Mana + 2% of the mana is converted to Ability Power
• Nashor's Tooth - 1400 Gold + Fliendish Codes - +55 Ability Power -20% Cooldown

Final Items + Important stats

• Mejas Soulstealer - +140 Ability Power (After 7 Kills)
• Sorcerer's Shoes- + 33 Ability Power, Running Faster
• Banshee's Veil - + Get Saved from Enemy Spells to cast Absoulte Zero +500 Mana
• Zhonya's Ring - +100 Ability Power, +25% Ability Power + 500 Mana
• Archangel's Staff - 45 Ability Power / +25 Manareg/5s / + 400 Mana + 2% of the mana is converted to Ability Power

So all your Items together give you + (140+33+100+45+55+0,02*2500)*1,25 Ability Power Bonus, thats 528. - Total Money wasted for buying: About 15.000


Runes + Skills + Abilities

Runes: I take just ability Power runes that give me + 75 Abiltiy Power @ level 18

Skilling: Skilling-Tree - Probably not perfekt but it is mostly about loosing Cooldown (Ice Blast with less cooldown is good) and getting some ability Power

Abilities: Ghost for running away / following Ice Blasted players and Teleport

Complete-Skilled you will get over 600 ability Power (tested with bots, had about 635) That means your Ice-Bolt does over 800 Damage with 5 secs Cooldown and your Absolute-Zero Spell does over 2500 Damage. So Ice Bolt + Absolute Zero + Ice bolt does 4100 Damage in 5 Seconds .. Enough to kill every Champion.


How to Play / Level

Keep in the back, if your Health goes too low, better port home, you can kill noobs in the first Part of the game by hiding in the bush and Icebolting them + hitting them + a teammate.

You can waste Absolute Zero in the beginning of the game to kill greater groups of minions, but in the endgame it really IS wasted.

How to assault an hero: Icebolt, Stand very ner to him, Icebolt again, then his health is so low that he will run away but with boiling blood and icebolt he won't get away very fast. Keep icebolting (and hitting if he does not wear sunfire cape or something like that) so you can easily take him out and he is slow enough that other heroes form your team can help you.

Escaping: Well sometimes you will fight against more than 2 Heroes, so you wil have to run away. Activate Blood Boil + Ghost so you will get 524 Walking speed (with boots) and if he is still fast enough Ice-blast him for slowing him down.

Jungeling: Just don't do it, it is useless.

I played and tested this build over 20 times and it works fine.
