Aggressive players: if you are constantly looking for kills, like to get into fights, running solo late game this is not for you. My build is very squish that relies on turrets and teammates to stay alive against tanks and high dps casters.

Impatient players: This build (with the way I usually play) is good for playing safe and waiting early game and staying behind the team.

This guide is great for:

New players: Ashe is rather easy to play and since you are not "in" the fight and since you are playing support you can learn from your teammates while you support them.

While most players think Ashe is a noob's champion she can do well in the hands of a pro too ( I am no pro  ) . I usually like a balanced team which has 1 ranged champion and my pick is Ashe.

Abilities:

Quote:
Passive : Focus - While out of combat, Ashe's critical strike chance increases by 3/6/9/12/15/18% every 3 seconds, removed after next attack.
Quote:
Frost Shot - While active, each of Ashe's basic attacks slow her target's movement speed. This drains mana with each attack.

Toggle: Ashe's basic attacks slow her target's movement speed by 10 / 17 / 24 / 31 / 38% for 2 seconds.

Cooldown : 0 seconds
Cost : 8 Mana per Attack
Range : 600
Great ability late game but a mana drain , very low priority
Quote:
Volley - Ashe fires 9 arrows in a cone for 150% damage. Volley also applies Ashe's current level of Frost Shot. Ashe fires 9 arrows in a cone dealing attack damage +40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80. Volley also applies Frost Shot.

Cooldown : 20/ 16 /12 /8 / 4 seconds
Cost : 60 Mana
Range : 600
High priority ability as it had good range and bonus damage. The reducing cooldown helps in spamming it late game and 1 shotting a lane of minions late game

Quote:
Plentiful Bounty - Each time Ashe kills a unit, she gains some extra gold. Ashe gains 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 extra gold whenever she kills any unit.

Cooldown : 0 - passive
Helps in earning money if you know how to lastshot creeps early game. Bounty + Volley help in minting money late game. Cycle with Volley while leveling

Quote:
Enchanted Crystal Arrow - Ashe fires a missile of ice in a straight line. If the arrow collides with an enemy Champion, it deals damage and stuns the Champion for up to 4.5 seconds, based on how far the arrow has traveled. In addition, surrounding enemy units take damage and are slowed. Based on the distance the arrow traveled, and deal 300 / 500 / 700 (+1 per ability power) magic damage. Additionally, surrounding units take half the damage and are slowed.

Cooldown : 75
Cost 150 Mana

Her best ability which helps in ganking at time wards of enemies  . Once out of cooldown see who you can hit to get a kill or setup a gank. I spam this as much as I can as it has a low cooldown. While aiming long distances try to predict the enemies’ movement and then shoot. I have managed to get kills in the fog of war when I can’t see the enemy

Spell progression:

The first ability will be volley which you should cycle with Bounty till you get the Ult. While you get the ultimate keep hitting the enemies with volleys when they get too close for comfort. Early levels Volley removes a lot of heath so the enemy will start to play defensively . As soon as you get the Ult try to hit someone.. anyone on the map , first priority will be anyone under 300 health as you can instagib them  . Once you fill out volley start talking the frost shot. By now you should have enough mana to spam it, but use it when needed. Your Ult has low cooldown use it as much as you can, with that said, use it only when you can stun to kill , i.e. someone should be near to kill the enemy , don't just shoot it half way across the map where none of your teammates are unless the person will die if you hit the shot.

So in short the priorities are

1.Ult
2.Volley
3.Bounty
4.Frost Shot

Items

The first Item has to be the meki pendant , it helps you keep spamming volley and keep people behind their creeps. Later build the Chalice of Harmony which will supply all your mana needs.

Now you start working on the infinity edge by buying the pickaxe which will provide some additional damage.

Personally I start building the infinity edge while building Stark's Fervor . The priorities of the items depend on the game , if I am getting dinked often I get Emblem of Valour first , if not I continue to build the Infinity edge. Also once you see the enemy is faster than you get the Berserker's Greaves.

So now you have 4 Items :

Chalice of Harmony : Mana Pool
Infinity Edge : Damage + crit chance
Stark's Fervor : Increased attack speed + lifesteal aura
Berserker's Greaves : Movement + Attack speed

Your next items are dependent on the enemies build . If they are mainly casters buy the Wits end to drain their mana, if its mainly tanks get Last Whisper to eat through their armor, If you are dying a few too many times get an heath item. If you are not doing enough damage buy the Black Cleaver.

Once you have brought of the above items as the 5th item you can start working on the one of the others for the 6th.

Items I suggest not to buy:

Armor or Magic Resistance : Ideally you will never be "in" the fights , you will be standing behind your team dealing damage.

Also Unless you die a lot stay off health items , with that being said don’t roam alone around the map once the ganking starts and always stay behind the team, this build is very squishy but packs a punch. In case you are being chased , keep shooting volleys while running the slow effect should help you make a good escape.

Champions to be weary of off.

1. Evelyn/Shaco : I hate these champion from the bottom of my heart. They can melt you down with the above build . But the Oracle's Elixir when you can if there is a twitch/Evelyn/Shaco ganking.
2. Tristana : usually not a problem but late game can be an issue as her range is greater than anyone else in the game.
3. Katarina : If your team has fed a Katrina your win is becoming a dream. She is way too OP against this build with the ability to shumpo in and drop her ultimate. The only solution if to keep using the volley against her and keep here at low health . Most players are aggressive with Katrina so use your Ult when you can.

Remember always stay with and behind your team and support them as much as you can.

Additions:

Remember Always build depending on how the other team is building , If they are already on the the backfoot you can wait longer to buy big ticket items (BF sword ) .

Other Items that work well with Ashe

Phantom Dancer :

+45% Attackspeed
+30% Crit
+20% Dodge
+12% Movementspeed

Great item , Increases everything you need , its great for attack speed but I usually pick Last whisper or Wits end which tends to be more helpful as it reduces armor and drains mana respectively.

Madred's Bloodrazor :

Another great AS item which also gives good damage .

+40 Attack Damage +40% Attack Speed +30 Armor Passive: On hit, deals Magic Damage equal to 2.5% of the target's maximum Health.

I usually never get a chance to buy this but its a great end item great if their team has 3 tanks but the Cost keeps me away from it end game. Also you will usually be dealing enough damage by the time you get your 5th item OR your team would be loosing hard where you wont be making enough gold

MOST IMPORTANT:

NEVER EVER GO ABILITY POWER ASHE
