Champion info
Perhaps one of the oddest champions in the League of Legends is the yordle known as Amumu. His life before joining the League remains unknown - especially to Amumu. All he remembers is that he woke up alone inside a pyramid within the Shurima Desert. He was entwined in mummy wrappings and he could not feel his heart beat. Furthermore, he felt a deep sadness that he could not entirely explain; he knew he missed his parents, though he could not remember who they were. Dropping to his knees, Amumu wept into his bandages. No matter what he did, it seemed he could just never stop his tears or sadness. Eventually he got up off his knees to mope and wander the world, making his way to the League; it would seem that even the raw power of unleashed emotions can be used to benefit the plans of summoners.

''Things are bad when Amumu is crying, but they're much worse when he's angry.''

1. Abilities

Cursed Touch (Passive)
Amumu's attacks reduce the target's magic resistance by 15/25/35 for 4 seconds.

Bandage Toss
Amumu tosses a sticky bandage at a target, stunning and damaging the target while he pulls himself to them.

Despair
Overcome by anguish, nearby enemies lose a percentage of their maximum health each second.

Tantrum
Permamently reduces the physical damage Amumu would take. Amumu can unleash his rage, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Each time Amumu is hit, the cooldown on tantrum is reduced by 0.5 seconds.

 Curse of the Sad Mummy
Amumu entangles surrounding enemy units in bandages, rendering them unable to attack or move and causes them to take damage. 2. Introduction

                      Pros:

-Incredible game changer due to Curse of the sad Mummy

-Effective vs melee champions as they help him reset the CD on his Tantrum

-Can alternate between AP tank / Tank or AP Char

-Auto-Attacks & Tantrum reduce enemy magic resistance via. His passive.

                      Cons:

-Bandage Toss can be a bit tricky to hit with

-Slow movement speed

-Can be hard to farm on early game if your lane is a bitch

3.  Items

Recommended Items.

AP:

Boots of Mobility

Rod of Ages

Rod of Ages

Abyssal Scepter

Rylai’s Crystal Scepter (Mhhmm… Slow..) / Archangels Staff (More AP & Mana)

Zhonya’s Ring

Tank:            These items should also be regulated according to what you’re against.
Boots of Speed

Frozen Heart

Abyssal Scepter

Sunfire Cape/ Force of Nautre

Sunfire Cape / Randuins Omen

Sunfire Cape

AP Tank:

Boots of Speed

Rod of Ages

Abyssal Scepter

Sunfire Cape

Force of Nature

Aegis of the Legion

Recommended item order:

This guide won’t include one.

4. Skilling Order

I always start with Bandage Toss for the stun, as it usually gaurantee’s me first blood or lets me save myself / lane partner from dying.

After this I get tantrum for harass / farming.

Skill Prio should look like this:

Tank:

Curse of the Sad Mummy > Tantrum > Bandage Toss > Despair

AP:

Curse of the Sad Mummy > Bandage Toss > Tantrum > Despair

AP Tank:

Curse of the Sad Mummy > Tantrum > Despair > Bandage Toss

5. Summoner Abilities

Tank:

Ghost & Flash is what I’d recommend, Flash so you can flash in press Ulti, then ghost for chasing / getting away

Alternatively you can get Ghost & Ignite.

AP:

Ghost & Ignite or Clarity & Ghost are great for AP Amumu.

You seriously need Ghost as AP Amumu to chase people to death.

6. Summary.

Game Mechanics/Strategy

 - Useing your ulti should be planned with your team mates (If you have mates like Anivia, Morgana, Fiddlesticks, so on) and preferably only if you can hit 3+ champs.

-Your ulti is also great if you need to save someone fast or stop an enemy champion form escaping.

-Bandage Toss scales 100% with AP, which makes it great for last hitting.

7. Creep Jungling

You’ll  need to grab Smite  to be able to jungle, and I like grabbing ghost along with it. Otherwise flash is viable.

As for abilities, I start out with Despair since it does more damage than tantrum till endgame.

I then grab Tantrum in lvl 2 and from here on my skill prio is:

Curse of the Sad Mummy > Despair>Tantrum>Bandage Toss

Note: I get dragon & Bandage toss at lvl 4.

Start out with 1x Cloth Armor, 4x Health Pot.

So, now make your way to your Golem while putting your first point into Despair. If When Golem spawns run in between his 2 minions, attack Golem and toggle Despair. Use your first Health Potion when you've taken 100 damage or so.
REMEMBER turn Despair off between minions to save mana.

Now just run from camp – camp through the minions counter clockwise and you should hit lvl 4 after you finish your first rotation.

Now, pop ghost and you should be able to make your way down to dragon and get it with before your Golem Buff runs out.

1st Blue Pill: Get Boots (Theese become Boots of Swiftness later on)

From here on it’s rinse and repeat.

Get what items you want, I’d suggest building as follows:
Randuins Omen

Sunfire Cape

Sunfire Cape

Abyssal Scepter

Force of Nature

Masteries:

For Jungleing I run with a 0/17/13 build with:
Defense:                                                                        Utility:

3/3 Resistance                     3/3 Hardiness                      3/3 Perseverance                 1/1 Haste

2/3 Strength of Spirit                                                     4/4 Awareness

2/2 Defensive Mastery       3/3 Harden Skin                 3/3 Meditation                    2/2 Utility Mastery

4/4 Veteran’s Scars

Runes:

Magic Pen Marks

Flat armor Seals or HP.pr LvL seals

Magic resist pr. Lvl  Glyphs

8. Working with your team.

With Amumu, try and stay near enemy champions with high health, as Despair is percentage based.

If you see someone getting away, use bandage toss as it has an incredible range.

9. Farming

Run in-between minions, spam Tantrum with Despair up, Profit.

10.Masteries

I run a 0/7/23 build for Swain.

Defense:                                                                                               Ulitiy:

                                                                                                                    3/3 Meditation                           2/2 Utility Mastery
